Online therapy may be a good fit if you

How counseling can help

Online sessions cover the same ground as in-person therapy. We work through what's weighing on you and build practical tools, drawing on approaches like CBT and, for couples, the Gottman Method, shaped around your goals. All you need is a private spot and a phone, tablet, or computer.

Telehealth is offered through a secure, confidential video platform, and phone sessions are available when video isn't convenient. Because counseling is regulated by state, online sessions are available to clients located anywhere in Texas.

What to expect

We'll start with a short, no-pressure conversation to make sure it's a good fit. Sessions run by appointment, including some evenings. Booking and most major insurance are handled through Headway, and in-person visits in downtown Waco are always an option too.

Frequently asked questions

Is online therapy as effective as in-person counseling?

For many concerns, anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and relationship issues, research finds telehealth counseling works as well as in-person sessions. The most important factor is the fit between you and your counselor, which comes through clearly over video.

Where in Texas can I see you online?

Anywhere in the state. Because counseling is licensed by state, online video and phone sessions are available to clients physically located in Texas, including Waco, Temple, Killeen, Bryan-College Station, Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and rural areas.

What do I need for a telehealth session?

A private space and a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and internet connection. You'll receive a secure link to join; there's nothing to install. Phone-only sessions are available if video isn't convenient.

Does insurance cover online therapy?

Most major plans cover telehealth the same as in-person visits and are accepted through Headway, including Aetna, BCBS of Texas, Cigna, United Healthcare (Optum), Oscar, and Carelon. Coverage varies by plan, I'm glad to help you check.

Is online counseling private and secure?

Yes. Sessions use a secure, confidential video platform that meets healthcare privacy standards. Please join from a private location where you feel comfortable talking openly.
